CLUB RULES

Do not add any of the gallery pieces to your favourites

We will no longer hunt you down and moan at you if you favourite a piece, you will just look very silly as the description states CLEARLY not to favourite the work in our gallery.

Please don't send us any copyrighted/traced material.
We don't submit anything made from original DN artwork/Covers or something traced exactly from original DN artwork.

Please keep your personal arguments away from the club.
If you want to fight or fall out with another deviant then this is not the place to do it.

The club will not accept anything that is too explicit (this includes masturbation).
We have the right to turn down any submissions for being to explicit and will never accept any kind of pornography.

Please respect the rules and other members of the club.



HOW TO JOIN

If you would like to become a member of the club then all you need to do is watch us. There is no need to send us a note.
We will also send you a welcome message (this is not guaranteed), it is not spam, just a way to welcome you and connect you to our community.

We would be very greatful if you spread the word about the club by using our icon and stamp but you don't have to if you don't want to.
We are more likely to chose to feature members who spread the word about the club.
We feature members in the clubs journals, in the clubs shoutboard, news articles and in the featured member journal.



FULL RULES OF SUBMISSION

1. Please read all the rules before submitting.
If we feel that you neglected to even read this journal, we will not submit your work.

2. Only one piece of art per week.
We get submissions out the wazoo. So you may only submit to us your artwork or fiction once a week. If you submit more, we will send you a note stating that you've already submitted and to submit later. And please do not send us more than one in one note and telling us that you won't submit for another month or so. We will not submit any of the work in the note, and a note will be sent to you with the club's rule.

3. Your work only.
Please follow the deviantART's rules. See below for frequently asked questions.

4. Completed and finished work only.
We are no longer accepting doodles, work in progresses, or sketches. If you intend to colour the lineart, send us the coloured version. If you have a doujinshi, please send us your favorite page.

For Fanfiction

5. If your fic is multi-chapters, please send us the first chapter only.
Please, only the first chapter. That way they can see the rest of the fanfic on your account.

6. Fanfictions will be half posted so the rest can by viewed on the author's page.
Pretty much self-explanitory. Because of the favoriting problems we have, we will only submit a portion of the fanfic to get the reader's attention, and a link will be supplied to the story on your account.

7. Please send us quality works
This means with very few grammar or spelling mistakes. Re-read over your work before submitting and correct any errors, please.

How to Submit

1. Send us a NOTE with "Submission" or "Submission fanfiction".
We will not accept any submissions if they are not sent by note or with the title above. We get too many notes and it gets confusing.

2. Send us the thumbnail inside the NOTE of your art or fiction.
Some of the admins have slow computers and if we have to sit and wait for a page to load only to find out it's not following the clubs rules (e.g is simply a photo of a death note) it was a huge waste of our time.
To obtain your thumb code look under your piece and simply copy and paste it into the note. It will same "Thumbnail"

3. Give us permission to post your artwork.
In your artist comments, please post the words "I give *LxLight or :icon lxlightno space) permission to post this". If we see this is absent, we will not submit your work.

4. Only submit work that revolves around L and Light.
As much as we love all the couples and characters of Death Note, this club is meant for only these two characters as the main characters. You can feature other characters, but please make L and Light as a couple, as this is what this club is for. If you are not sure, try our club affiliates such as =DeathNotefan or =LifeNoteClub They portray all couples and characters.
